I remember liking the book when I read it as a teen (not as much as they seemed to though), but I cannot imagine liking it at all now and not just being super annoyed,TEENS.

Laura is the nicest and is an expert on how Medabots is the best show, and she looked at every single book in Kinokuniya with me.
She also recently put all the issues of her amazing comic Bug Boys online and you should read all of those because they are some of my favorite comics ever.
For the parts I could hear there is some interesting imagery going on but I wasn't really able to follow it because I kept thinking about the music, now I'm "reading" Ovid's Metamorphoses getting so many ideas I want to use in comics from it.
Directly beside the AC is the best place to read comics in the summertime.
If you were curious I was reading 7 Billion Needles, which was compelling enough to read all o fit in one sitting, but not as awesome as the cover made it look.
I also picked up 20th Century Boys finally which I also devoured when I had time, so excited to get Volume 2, and X'ed Out which I read but I'm still not sure how I feel about it, need to read it again.
I also grabbed Solanin which I haven't started reading, but is by the same person who made Punpun which I've been reading online and like.
I think I might go back and pick up the twelve cassettes, because I'm having trouble understanding how Children of Húren fits into the stories since I don't remember exactly when the tales were told that it starts off with.
That book is really interesting, Alain De Botton's Consolations of Philosophy I'm about halfway through. I heard about it through the amazing Gabrielle Bell's comic about attending comic con, which you should probably read if you haven't.
